REVIEW: Insta Natural Argan Oil Combo

| On
Friday, September 18, 2015

Hey Guys,

I was sent these amazing products and was super excited to try them out...

I tried out the Argan oil treatment almost as soon as i took it out of the packaging. I applied it to the ends of my hair and it soaked in almost instantly. It doesn't really have much scent to it but that didn't put me off at all. I Also tested it out after washing my hair while it was still wet, It pretty much worked the same for me which is great. This is an all round product for me and does everything its supposed to.

I've never really been a big fan of hair masks as i find them a little too heavy and do more harm then good. However I was really intrigued by this one as it has in it so many beneficial properties. I absolutely love the scent of it too. It reminds me of a sweet scented Christmas candle(my fave.) Although it is a super thick, creamy mask, I don't find it to be too greasy.
I applied it after shampooing and left it for a few hours. I instantly saw results once i had rinsed it out. I left my hair to air which tends to result in a crazy frizz situation but the hair mask left my hair completely soft and smooth.

I would definitely recommend this duo to anyone with dry or damaged hair. And particularly if your hair tends to frizz.

Elements Of My Bedroom

| On
Monday, September 07, 2015

Hey guys,

I thought i would share with you a few little treasures that make up my bedroom.

It took me a long time to settle into a general theme for my room. I went through a faze of everything pink, from the walls - to the furniture. But through this past year i feel like my style has 'sophisticated.' (*she says loosely)

I love a good scented candle too, I will almost always have a few burning at the same time and i'm really into super sweet scents.

I love the whole minimal thing when it comes to interior design. However, as a keen art student, i like to put a personal touch to everything.

All the artwork was made by your truly. They're not necessarily my favorite pieces i have done, but i thought they fit in rather well in my room.

My bed is a simple day bed i got from Ikea a long time ago. It's fits perfectly in this part of my room and is super cosy and comfy. (P.s- Isn't this duvet set so cut! i picked it up from Ikea for a bargain price!)

I really suck at organising my wardrobe, but i think this is about the best it's ever been. The storage unit is from Ikea and has literally saved my life as far as finding things a home. It's all quite a mix of bits and bobs in here but that's part of its charm i think.

I am seriously in love with my gold wire hangers! i got a huge pack of them from amazon for cheap.
Also this bunny throw from Primark is unbelievably cute! I'm a sucker for anything with bunnies on.

I couldn't possibly do this post without sharing with you my baby bun. Beau is a house bunny so he spends most of his time in my room with me. Although he has he little corner with all his bits and bobs in, he has complete full reign of my room 24/7. This means i get lots of bunny cuddles at night and often wake up with this bundle of fluff spread out and the end f my bed.

My room to me, is a place of calm. Its also somewhere where i can be surrounded by all my favorite things and completely relax. There's nothing more therapeutic to me then just being in my room, listening to music, painting or just watching my bun run around and be silly.

I hope you like my room as much as i do, let me know what you think.

The Kiss University Takeover Plus My Tips On Choosing The Right University

| On
Wednesday, January 21, 2015

Hey Guys,

A while back i wrote a post about deciding whether or not to go to university. Well I decided that its something i really want to do. With that came a new bundle of choices i had to make regarding where i actually wanted to study.

Choosing what university you want to go to and what to study is going to be one of the biggest decisions you will have to make. You will be spending at least 3 years at uni and in a lot of cases, moving out to live on campus, that is why it is so important to make the right decision.

Kiss FM presenter AJ went to the university of Greenwich to show potential students under the skin of the university and what you can get up to in the faculties.

Here are a few clips :

To Find out more about The Kiss University takeover, Check out this site. There is also a competition You guys can enter for the chance to win some great prizes including an Ipad mini!

here are a few of my tips that I found useful when picking my uni choices:

1. UCAS:
UCAS is a great site that shows every possible university and narrows them down to what you require. It is also the site i used to actually apply to uni.

2. Open days:
Personally, i think this is the best way to really get to see what the university is like what it would be like to study there, you get to meet similar student looking for similar courses and it gives you a chance to mooch around the surrounding area and get a feel for the local environment.  Some of the places i went to visit were in a very  quiet yet pretty and others in very busy but popular areas.

3. Chat to current students:
I didn't really want to do this at first as i felt kind of silly, like i was bugging people a little bit. But I got nothing but friendly and helpful responses. Its was really great hearing about the uni through a students perspective.

4. YouTube:

Most universities nowadays have a YouTube channel dedicated to helping future students get to know their uni on a more personal level. I found it particularly useful looking at examples of portfolios and past students work. It's also great for preparing you for interviews.

I hope that was useful. let me know your experiences which university.
