November Favorites (better late than never)

| On
Sunday, December 22, 2013

This month i have been loving a whole bunch of goodies from nail polishes to drinks! here a just a few of my faves from the past month...

1.Soap and glory hand cream

Since the weather has gotten a whole lot colder and the wind a lot stronger, my skin tends to become dry and chapped. so this hand cream has been my hand savoir throughout this month.

  2.  miss sporty tinted lip balm

this lip balm is the perfect balance between a moisturizing lip balm and a tint of colour perfect for everyday. and the cranberry red shade it perfect for this time of year.

3.  woolly snood- Primark

I have literally worn the snood everyday since i bought it! i love it so much, its warm and cozy, an i love the berry shade of it. it can be rocked out over your day outfit or popped over your evening wear.

  6. Plum lipstick

I love a good dark plum lipstick and quite frankly, there's no greater time to rock it out then the colder months. This month i have been loving this one from Claire's. the colour pay off isn't brilliant but its moisturizing and was pretty damn cheap.

   7. Woolly jumper- Bank

This cream woolly jumper has been my best friend throughout this past month! I super thick and warm. The long length means its perfect jumper to wear with leggings!

 9. Vanilla body spray- Boots

This has to be my favourite scent of all time! Its super sweet and smells like a candy store! I will definitely be repurchasing this once it runs out!

D.I.Y studded cross tee

| On
Wednesday, June 26, 2013

You will need:

  • A plain t-shirt
  • studs
  • ruler
  • pencil

The studs i used are silver round flat-headed studs with four spokes to secure your stud on the material. These ones i purchased on eBay for around £2.00. I searched in the eBay search engine 'D.i..y studs' and hundreds of different packs of them came up.

Step 1:

Start by stenciling in a line directly down the center of your tee.

Step 2:

Next create a second line roughly where the top of the cross would go. Ensure the line is straight, then add a mark on either side of the line equal lengths apart.

Step 3:

Start adding your stud from the interception of both lines. push the stud in place, then carefully flip to the underside of the top and you should be able to see all four spokes of the stud.

Step 4:

Next you need to push down all of the spokes so that they are turned in to the inside of the stud. This will stoop the spokes from irritating your skin.

Step 5:

Follow the first line you made, stud all the way along about 5 mm apart.

Step 6:

It can be quite tricky to keep them all aliened correctly but do your best to ensure they are all following the line.

Step 7:

After you have completed the first line, start on the second line following the same process.

Step 8:

Add studs either side of the cross and follow along the original cross.

This will make the cross bolder and more outstanding.

And walare, the finished product! You can experiment with different designs, materials or studs.
Hope you enjoyed!

(another)Primark Haul

I took a quick trip into Primark. I only picked up a few little things. But interesting and handy none the less.

I bought these mainly with the intentions of keeping them for my holiday in a few months. They come in a pack of three and are super soft.

It's always handy to have a few plain white vests. this one was super cheap and is of a great quality.

I don't actually own a pair of disco pants. Despite the fact i think there stunning. I found these plain black ones for a decent price and decided to get them. There really comfy and i  like that there high waisted.

I always wear random cute little bracelets and these are exactly that! They came in different shades and styles and i will definitely be buying some more soon!

I was a little unsure about this necklace as it is really long. but i realised i don't actually own any long necklaces and so i bought it. it was also in the sale for £1.00 so i'm not really going  to regret it.

Primark Haul

| On
Saturday, May 04, 2013
Just a small handful of goodies I picked up from Primark earlier today;

Eyelash curlers which came with a spare...
Eyelash curlers: £1.00

A kinda random buy from Primark, but they were really cheap so i thought what the heck.
 Cotton pads £1.00

I thought this pack of elasticated bracelets were really cute and good for stacking up other bracelets.
Yellow gold bracelets £3.00

This is a peach coloured waist belt with yellow gold flat-head studs. Its a bit longer that i wanted but it hopfully will go with a lot of my outfits.
Belt: £2.50

This is an awsome head band. I used to own one similar but miss-placed it.
Headband: £1.00

I never usually buy beauty products from Primark but i decided to try out this hair mask which contains Shea butter.
hair mask: £1.50

So that's it. My (once again) small haul.

MINI SHOPPING HAUL

TOPSHOP::
I always go straight to the back of Topshop to were they have there amazing shoes and great makeup.

I also spent a lot of time on the topshop website and came across the 'magic eyeliner' which i knew i had to have!

Today i went in and purchased it. this little beauty is a felt tip eyeliner in black. As i had hoped, the tip is really fine and great for precise lines and thin wings.

SUPERDRUG: I have recently been looking for some hair products containing argon oil. today i came across this product from 'fudge'. It claims to be a 3 in 1 product which defrizzes, smoothes and conditions, with a bonus of added argon oil.

Th consistency is like a serum which is handy and easy to apply. i So far have only used it on the ends of my dry hair and that seems to have made my hair look healthier and shinier. You can also use this on wet hair and before you straighten so i am looking forward to using this product more often.

PRIMARK::  I never really can find anything in Primark that i like, but at the moment they have some really nice, pretty little nic nacs which i had to be apart of.

I fist picked up these assorted earrings. they are quit small which i like as i have stretchers and 2 piercing in each ear so i don't have much room for big earrings. (not to mention i have abnormally small ears.) they were really cheap which is always a good thing and there are so many which all go nicely together.

Next i found this pretty little headband. I'm a big fan of having my hair up, especially in between hair washing days. they had loads of different designs and colours but this one stood out to me the most. i felt like it could go with most things and doesn't really clash with my hair.

As we got to the queue to pay, i noticed this jumper. I really truly j'adore over sized jumpers and wear one literally everyday, so i can always do with a new one. I really like the colour of this jumper and the length is perfect for if i wanted to wear leggings.

So there are my little shopping trip goodies, :) It wasn't a big shop but I'm certainly happy with what i got so without a doubt money well spent.
