My shoe collection

| On
Saturday, January 18, 2014
I'm a big fan of big, bold shoes. I love heels, (platform heels) the most. Some of my friends would say I'm crazy for sporting out some of the heels i own, but i personally love shoes that are extra ordinary. I love to shock people with my choices of footwear.

So here they are,  I hope you like my collection of beauties just as much as i do. Let me know what you think!

Aldo
My parents bought me these heels as a gift for my yr 11 prom. they hold a lovely memory and i will never throw them away!

New look

These shoes are a recent purchase. they were for my 19th birthday. They are super flattering, however they killed my feet like you wouldn't believe!

Matalan

I got these a while ago for a party. They are a little too big but comfy and i love they glitter detail. I still haven't actually worn them out though.

New look

These were one of the first pair of heel that i bought. I used to wear them all day everyday. Luckily they are comfy too. They look really great with skinny jeans.

New look

I bought these as part of a witches costume for Halloween. They have a small heel and the soles have grips so there great for autumn/winter when the ground is wet and slippy.

Dr Martin

I love these boots! They are super comfy and look great with black skinny jeans. the flower details make them perfect for spring and give them an individual touch.

Jeffrey Campbell

Jeffrey Campbell is a shoe god! I love these heels more than life itself. Omg you wouldn't believe how comfortable these are until you try them for yourself! The skull detailing on these bad boys makes them extra special.

Shoe Zone

I bought these heels before i splashed out on Campbell's to test them out. I really like these shoes! there as comfy as the real deal but not as heavy and bulky. I would recommend buying these if your interested in lita's but don't want to spend over £100.0 on them.

Shoe Zone

I got these a few weeks after the other ones ones from Shoe Zone. They were a Hesitant buy as i had never bought any shoes quite like these before. I've only worn them a few times but love them loads. They look really great with a black midi dress.

Jeffrey Campbell
Another wonderful creation from Jeffrey Campbell. They always get great comments from people which is always flattering. They can be quite annoying to take of because of the spikes but its well worth it! they look really great with a skater skirt.
River Island

I was so happy when i found these shoes! I had been looking for a pair of sculpted heels for a while but couldn't find any  that i really loved. I saw these on a table in the shop and  couldn't believe it when i realised they were on sale! They hurt my feet a little and i only really were them for a few hours at time, But i love showing them off.

So that's it! Please let me know which are your fave and if you have any similar.

The benefits of Green tea

| On
Monday, January 13, 2014

I love drinking green tea, I drink it on a daily basis and have replaced my regular English teas with it.
I would definitely say it is an acquired taste, but there are so many different flavored green teas you can find. My personal favourite is peppermint green tea for the morning and jasmine infused for the evenings.

There are so many health benefits related to drinking green tea. Its such a simple way to improve your health. Evan by drinking one cup a day, you can see improvements in your health.

Green tea is made from un-oxidized leafs and goes through very little processing. It also contains a very high level of anti oxidants which can help fight of diseases. It can improve your heart and blood circulation, mental health and regulate your body temperature. Studies have also proven that it can reduce the symptoms of liver disorders.

A popular use for green tea is to aid weight loss. It boosts your metabolism, making burning calories faster and more effective. Green tea can also increase your energy levels meaning you can work out for longer. You can also use it as a detox to flush out bad toxins in your body, as well as suppressing appetite.

Drinking green tea after a meal can help breakdown food and decreasing feelings of bloating. It may also relieve troubles with constipation.

some other possible health problems decreased for green tea are;
  • cancer
  • heart disease
  • type 2 diabetes

Reveiw: Rimmel Wake me up foundation

| On
Sunday, January 12, 2014

If you like a dewy, natural glow then this foundation would be the perfect solution. the foundation looks super shimmery in the bottle, however these reflect the sunlight, giving you a perfect glowing finish.
The foundation comes in a decent array of shades, however the lightest colour i found to be sightly too orange.

Straight from the pump, the texture of the foundation seems quite gloopy. But one blended you can get it to a medium and possibly full coverage.  I have the shade 200 Soft beige.

I wouldn't recommend this to hose with oily sin due to the dewy finish, this could cause the skin to look even more oily. However, in other circumstances, i would definitely go and give this a try.

Get it from Superdrug here now for only £5.99! (was £8.99)

Let know if you have tried it and what you think of it!

A trip to London museum.

| On
Sunday, January 05, 2014
When i was a kid, i used to love going on school trips to places like museums an galleries. Not just to get out of school for the day, but love learning new things and discovering interesting facts about the world and everything that's in it. Now, I'm lucky enough to have a younger sister who i an share these moments with.

I could spend hours upon hours staring at every little detail when visiting a museum. I'm definitely one of those people that stand around and read all the interesting pieces of knowledge posted throughout the building.

Here are a few of the little treasures i discovered today on my trip to The London museum;

The Benefits of honey

| On
Thursday, January 02, 2014

Honey is so wonderful. Its health benefits range from internal remedies such as coughs and colds, and beauty such as skin softening. Here are a few uses for honey that i have discovered;

  1. Face mask

Mix 2 tblsp of honey with 2 tblsp of olive oil and half a mashed banana. combine until smooth and apply to your face. Relax with the mask on for around 10 minutes before rinsing with arm water. this will keep your skin soft and glowing.

    2.  Exfoliating scrub

Mix equal parts of honey with olive oil and add a handful of course sea salt. Gentle exfoliate in circular motions across the driest parts of your body and rinse with warm water. Don't forget to moisturize these areas after.

   3. Hair conditioner

Combine honey with the yolk of an egg and apply to the ends of your hair. leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water and washing hair as normal. for blonde hair add lemon juice and for brunettes add vinegar.

    4. For a hangover
Consuming one tblsp of of honey after drinking alcohol can help the liver break down alcohol.

   5. Weight loss
Substituting honey for other sugary treats can reduce the amount of calories you consume daily.

    6. Cough & cold
Add 1 tblsp of honey with half a squeezed lemon to hot water a drink every couple hours. this helps unblock your system.

I hope you liked these tips. Let me know if you try any of them, or if you know any others.
